You will be introduced to User experience design that addresses user problems, and in this student are expected to deep dive into how UX research and strategy can be utilized, to improve the outcome of any design project. You will learn about different concepts in design thinking, human cantered design, and human-computer interactions, with this you will be able to develop skills to complete any design research or develop user personas directly from the generated insights. At end of this course, you will be familiar with essential design processfundamentals and knowledge on how to combine user data into a persona, thuscreating a conducive environment for empathy which be used to create designsthat serves the intended users.

Having understood your users in the first unit of this course, its time now to structure your design solution. You will be introduced to different tools that to can be used to advance workflow through fully hands on project work. You will teach how to perform content audits and use it as your leverage to create Information architecture, you learn howto organised information through performing hierarchy and relationship mapping and apply iterative design approach.

You will learn how to create low-fidelity wire frames and iterate on them until high-fidelity concepts for your UX design are achieved, then build on them to develop interactive prototypes and test the designs and you will also convert your wire frames into fidelity final designs.  At this level learners should be able to build mockups and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, a popular design tool, be able to define and apply common visual design elements and principles and demonstrate how design systems can be used to organize, standardize, and enhance designs. You will acquire knowledge the role of design critique sessions and feedback while iterating on designs and learn how to hand off finished design projects to engineering teams.
